Lovesick Blues: Remembering Hank Williams

More than a country singer, Hank Williams was an essential American voice. Ease and authenticity mark this ensemble’s homage to Williams’ brief but prolific recording career. Singer/songwriter Ethan Kinsella cultivated his sound touring with Americana, Country, and Bluegrass bands. The skilled musicians surrounding him were featured in popular Chicago productions of WOODY GUTHRIE’S AMERICAN SONG and the long-running hit MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. Drawing from “The Hillbilly Shakespeare’s” deep well of favorites, featured songs include “Hey Good Lookin,” “Your Cheating Heart,” “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” and many more.
