Lorenzo Rush Jr. is an award-winning actor and singer celebrated as one of Chicago’s most gifted entertainers. He is a three-time recipient of Chicago's Jeff Award for his standout performances in Ain't Misbehavin', Sophicated Ladies (The Raconteur), and Five Guys Named Moe (Big Moe), and winner of the Black Theater Alliance Award for Memphis (Delray Jones). Further stage credits include Dreamgirls (Curtis Taylor, Jr., Jeff nomination), Cats (Old Deuteronomy), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey II), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Pharoah), Jesus Christ Superstar (Caiaphas), Damn Yankees (Van Buren), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (Player), The Wiz (The Lion), and The Wizard of Oz (Lion). Television appearances include Fargo, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Sirens. Directing credits include A Christmas Carol and Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus!, as well as Assitant Directing productions of Big Fish, Spring Awakening, and In The Heights.
