Lauto received Chicago's Jeff Award for her outstanding performance in the original Chicago cast of Forbidden Broadway's hit musical Spamilton. She also received a Jeff nomination for starring as Liza Minnelli in The Boy From Oz. Other theatre credits include In The Heights (Vanessa), Oklahoma! (Ado Annie), Hair (Sheila), Xanadu (Kira), Million Dollar Quartet (Dyanne), Grease (Marty), Ragtime (Evelyn Nesbit), 1776 (Abigail Adams), Sunset Boulevard (Betty), and Seussial (Mayzie). On screen, Lauto appears in commericals and co-stars in the musical drama Mixtape on Netflix. She is a graduate of The Second City Training Center.
